Narcan Education & Distribution is a free community program that teaches participants how to recognize the signs of an opioid overdose, respond safely, and administer Narcan Nasal Spray. In less than 30 minutes, you’ll gain practical knowledge that could help save someone’s life during an emergency.
Following the training, eligible participants may receive a free Narcan nasal spray kit along with additional information about recovery resources and local support services.
Opioid overdoses can happen anywhere, and knowing how to respond quickly can save a life. Morgan County Substance Abuse Council offers free Narcan Education & Distribution training to help community members feel prepared to respond during an overdose emergency.
The training is designed for anyone—not just healthcare professionals. Friends, family members, caregivers, community members, and individuals affected by substance use are all encouraged to participate.

After completing the training, eligible participants may receive a free Narcan Nasal Spray kit containing Naloxone Hydrochloride.

This program is offered through a partnership between Morgan County Substance Abuse Council (MCSAC), the Morgan County Health Department, and the local chapter of Parents of Addicted Loved Ones (PAL). Together, these organizations are committed to increasing education, improving access to Narcan, and connecting individuals with the resources they need to support recovery and strengthen our community.
